AIS specializes in performing premium audits and underwriting loss
control surveys for insurance companies. We are available to provide
services on a per request basis or under contract. AIS utilizes our
own report forms or the insurance carrier’s report forms.
The following list are types of services AIS, Inc. provides:
AUDITS:
PHYSICAL AUDITS - These audits are performed on all lines of
coverage to identify Operations, Business/Employee Classifications
and to report Basis of Premium.
PHONE AUDITS - These audits are performed on all lines of coverage
and include signed worksheets by the insured. These reports
involve much more than a telephone call.
MAIL AUDITS - These audits are performed on all lines of coverage
and are Professionally designed forms that capture all necessary
Classification and Basis of Premium Data.
PRE/INTERIM AUDITS - These audits are performed to identify over
or under Annual Premium Basis Estimations on policies “as
written”.
RETURN/NON-PRODUCTIVE - The auditor will make three (3) phone
calls to the policyholder and a call to the agent before returning
the request as non-productive.
UNDERWRITING SURVEYS:
COPE SURVEYS - These surveys are conducted to compile basic underwriting
information on construction, occupancy, protection and exposure
details.
EXPOSURE SURVEYS - These surveys are conducted to compile
underwriting information on an insured’s operations and to
identify property and casualty exposures.
RESTAURANT SURVEYS - These detailed surveys are conducted to
verify the type of restaurant and to check if cooking exposures
are controlled in accordance with NFPA 96 , and UL 300 requirements.
FARM SURVEYS - These surveys are conducted to identify the number
of buildings on a farm and the type of operations being performed
on the property.
WORKERS COMPENSATION SURVEYS - These surveys are conducted to
gather information on a company’s operations, workers compensation
exposures, and safety programs.
AUTOMOBILE FLEET SURVEYS - These surveys are conducted to verify
use of vehicles, size of fleet; maintenance of vehicles, and
radius of operations.
JOB SITE SURVEYS - These surveys are conducted to verify the type
of work an insured performs.
ARTISAN CONTRACTOR PHONE SURVEYS - These surveys are conducted to
gather information on small contractors businesses.
RECOMMENDATION COMPLIANCE SURVEYS - These surveys are conducted to
check an insured’s compliance with previous recommendations.
